The Los Angeles Times is looking to hire two copy editors who will be based in our largest news bureau: Washington, D.C.
With nearly 20 reporters, the Washington bureau is the most important hub of Times journalism outside of California. It covers the federal government through the lens of the West, and it will be our base of operations for coverage of the 2020 presidential campaign.
We’re looking for two seasoned, meticulous, high-metabolism journalists to copy-edit stories with a focus on digital platforms.

The job is classified as Multiplatform Editor within the Los Angeles Times Guild. This position could involve weekend shifts. Both editors will be expected to start their shifts around 7 a.m.
