The California Times is seeking experienced candidates for editing positions on the Arts and Entertainment staff.
The Los Angeles Times is looking for a Books Editor.
The editor will oversee the paper’s literary coverage on all platforms and will be responsible for commissioning and editing reported features, breaking news and book reviews. This person will also collaborate on planning the L.A. Times Festival of Books and other live events.
Candidates must have 10 or more years of experience covering the arts and culture, at least five years of management experience, a wide network of freelance writers, omnivorous inclinations as a reader and editor, and a deep understanding of literature in L.A. and beyond.
