At the Los Angeles Times and San Diego Union Tribune we have entered the next chapter and are investing in the future of journalism. Together, we are looking for a Product Manager whose primary focus will be to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across the organization to drive the vision of our digital media products by developing strategies, managing product roadmaps and leading the product development process to execution.
The product manager will advocate for the consumer while synthesizing the requirements of many teams to write user stories, product requirement documents and tracking tickets. Working closely with engineering, project management and design, the product manager will oversee an agile development process to keep stakeholders informed, continually test and iteratively release work to optimize our KPIs.
The product manager will use analytics, a/b and user testing tools to quickly learn what is working and optimize experiences. The person in this roll will be the team leader and educator on best practices, industry trends and competitive landscape for their product.
